Sullivan: Israel stands behind the ceasefire proposal!

White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said that Israel stands behind the proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and that the goal now is to bridge the gaps with Hamas and reach a deal soon. 

Sullivan told reporters on the sidelines of the meeting of the leaders of the (G7) in southern Italy that the world should encourage the terrorist organization to agree to the proposal and prevent a deadlock in the negotiations.
