“Netanyahu has created a humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza”

US Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts (D) stated to POLITICO that she will not be attending PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to a joint session of the congress on July 24th. Warren said that the main reason is that Netanyahu “has created a humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, and he made clear that he does not support US policy for a two-state solution”. Warren joins the list of Democratic lawmakers boycotting Netanyahu’s July 24 speech, including representative Ro Khanna, Representative Jim Clyburn and Senator Bernie Sanders who are expected to be joined by dozens of other progressive lawmakers.
