Israel recalled its ambassadors to Norway and Ireland, after the latter announced they would be recognizing Palestine as a state before the end of May. Israeli foreign minister Israel Katz threatened that Israel will not let this (recognition) pass in silence, and also threatened Spain with a similar procedure should it insist on taking the same step Dublin and Oslo did.
