 What Israel isn’t Understanding!

Settlers’ attacks on the west bank are only increasing sympathy for Hamas. In a story published today in “the Guardian” by Ruth Michaelson and Sufian Taha, the writers stress that the violence perpetrated by extremists and settlers at the West Bank, including burning houses, killing, assaulting, and looting, with no effective measures taken by the Israeli authorities or the PA, sympathy for Hamas is rising.

“The Guardian” quoted a Palestinian citizen of Al Mughayyir village in the West Bank saying: “The truth is vividly clear: Hamas gives us a sliver of hope. My support for Hamas is only increasing – what has been taken by force can only be reclaimed by force. Only Hamas can defend us from the settlers”.
