“Germany will stand by the (ICC) decision and enforce it”

German government spokesperson Steffen Hebestreit commented yesterday on the ICC application for arrest warrants against Israeli PM and Yoav Gallant confirming that “Germany will stand by the (ICC) decision and enforce it”. Hebestreit told reporters Wednesday in Berlin “Of course. Yes, we abide by the law,”.

However, he cautioned that there was no equivalence between the actions of the State of Israel, defending itself against invading Hamas terrorists, and the terrorists themselves who have “violated every international law on the books in their zeal to annihilate Israel and its Jews”.
