Disengagement Canceled in North West Bank
On Wednesday morning, Defense Minister Yoav Galant ordered the implementation of the law canceling the disengagement from the northern West Bank in Sanur, Ganim, and Kadim - a continuation of the first order that included the Homesh settlement.
A joint statement with the head of the Shomron Regional Council, Yossi Dagan, stated that “the implementation of the order comes after continuous conversations held by the Minister of Defense with the head of the council and army officials.”
“After the disengagement repeal law was passed in the Knesset and after the body completed its work, we succeeded in completing the historic step. Jewish control over Judea and Samaria guarantees security. Implementing the disengagement repeal law will lead to the development of the settlements and buy security for the residents of the region,” Galant said.
