"Israeli government and army officials are planning to carry out a more limited operation in Rafah, and not a full-scale attack as planned at the beginning," published senior commentator of "The Washington Post" David Ignatius.
According to him, American officials believe that "this attack will cause less damage to civilians, so US President Joe Biden is not expected to oppose it."
It should be noted that at least 800,000 Palestinians evacuated from Rafah, out of the approximately one and a half million residents who stayed there.
