According to the "New York Times" newspaper, the United States will dismantle the pier it established in the Gaza Strip, after it failed to transfer humanitarian aid to the Palestinian population. Officials told the newspaper that they hope that Israel will open additional land routes to bring in aid, since the Gaza Strip, according to them, is facing "levels of extremes of hunger".
