Spain Universities Willing to Divest

Yesterday, Thursday, the Board of Directors of the Spanish University Rectors Committee (CRUE) issued a special statement on the situation in Gaza, expressing its support for the demonstrations at universities, and demanding an immediate ceasefire. 

The committee pledged that it would “review ties and if necessary, suspend collaboration with Israeli universities and research centers that haven’t expressed a firm commitment to peace and respect for international humanitarian law.”
